Smoke alarm at Microsoft HQ: burnt popcorn

REDMOND — Firefighters responding to an alarm at Microsoft Corp.’s campus in this Seattle suburb didn’t stay long.

Redmond Fire Department Battalion 11 Capt. Ralph Ashmore said, “It was burnt popcorn that set off the smoke alarm” on Wednesday.
