Snohomish County Jail inmate died by suicide

EVERETT — A Snohomish County Jail inmate who died last week has been identified.
Gregory Bennett, 35, of Snohomish, was found unresponsive in his cell Friday.
He later died in a local hospital. An autopsy confirmed the cause of death was suicide by hanging, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
