EVERETT — A teenager killed Friday night in a south Everett shooting has been identified.
Just after 7:40 p.m. Friday, officers responded to reports of multiple gunshots and a rollover accident at the intersection of Beverly Boulevard and 75th Street SE, police said. Officers found a vehicle on its side with one person trapped inside. Gabriel Kartak, a 17-year-old from Seattle, had suffered an “apparent gunshot wound,” according to a news release.
On Tuesday, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office determined Kartak died of a gunshot wound. The manner of death was classified as homicide.
