TENINO — Falling trees in last week’s snow and ice storms caused about $50,000 damage at Wolf Haven International in Tenino.
KING reports falling trees damaged fence enclosures and took out the surveillance system that keeps an eye on the 50 wolves on the 82-acre sanctuary.
Director Diane Gallegos says the damage is devastating for the small non-profit. It’s trying to clean up habitats in time for the breeding month in February.
