Victim in homicide north of Lynnwood is identified

LYNNWOOD — An autopsy confirmed a man died in a homicide at an apartment north of Lynnwood.
Danny Hinojosa, 52, was found dead in his apartment when a friend went to check on him at 1 p.m. Monday, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Hinojosa lived in the home by himself, at a one-story U-shaped complex in the 15300 block of Highway 99.
His identity was released Thursday by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. The cause of death was listed as “homicidal violence.”
No details were released about how he died, or whether a weapon was used. No suspects have been publicly identified.
