BELLINGHAM — Bellingham police said an autopsy is scheduled today in what they are calling the suspicious death of a 32-year-old woman found in a pool of blood inside her first-floor apartment.
Lt. Rick Sucee said the body of Kriston A. Dunya was found Tuesday by a co-worker who went to check on her after she hadn’t reported for work.
Police secured a search warrant for the apartment. Sucee refused to comment on whether any weapon was found.
The Bellingham Herald reported that Dunya was head cashier at a Barnes & Noble store.
