House budget would help small businesses

I am writing as a homeowner and supporter of small businesses here in Washington state to say that the state House has put together a solid budget that provides tax relief to small businesses while giving fewer tax breaks to big business.

We need to support this and, as the House and Senate hammer out the final budget details, I hope HB 2186 remains intact. It will provide more funding for education and mental health care as well as encourage small businesses to continue without undue tax burdens. All are positive outcomes that will improve the lives of Washingtonians.
