If Jan. 6 was ‘legitimate political discourse’ we’re in trouble

If folks who were participating in — or aiding and abetting those who did — the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol were examples of “participating in legitimate political discourse” as the Republican National Conference seems to believe, someone had better start a “Refund the police” movement PDQ because we’re on our way to becoming a banana republic.
