Into the wild
So you think you’re a survivalist: In a new reality series called “Get Out Alive With Bear Grylls,” the British adventurer puts contestants through a wilderness challenge.
Spoiler alert: In episode 4, a contestant wards off frostbite by fashioning earmuffs from the furry creature that lives on Donald Trump’s head.
Got their goat, I guess: The Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe were the site for the Goatalympics on Saturday. Along with other events, goat owners entered their ruminants in obstacle courses and other races.
The only thing faster than some of the goats will be the arrival of a “cease and desist” letter from a humorless U.S. Olympic Committee, complaining that the Goatalympics could be confused with the actual Olympic Games.
Don’t know much about history: On this day in 1776, the Declaration of Independence was read aloud publicly for the first time.
After he was finished reading the stirring words of the Declaration, the town crier was mocked by some in the crowd for using a TelePrompTer.
