Rep. Lovick has proven record of service

Ever since I met Rep. John Lovick, he has been serving the public, 13 years in the Coast Guard, sergeant in the Washington State Patrol for 31 years, Snohomish County Sheriff.

John truly understands the meaning of serving one’s community, and he gets that serving your community starts with keeping people safe. No one knows better than John the importance of public safety, but more importantly, he knows what we have to do to keep our communities — and law enforcement officers — safe.

That is why John sponsored HB 1655 that finally provides post-traumatic stress coverage for law enforcement officers. When our officers have the best training and support, we can provide the high quality service we all deserve in Snohomish County. It’s no surprise that John has the endorsements of the Washington State Patrol and the Washington Council of Police and Sheriffs, the largest organization representing law enforcement in the state.

John’s boots are firmly planted in our community and he offers real solutions, not political games. The question is simple: Do we want a legislator with a proven record of successful, bipartisan, and actually effective leadership?
