Woman’s kindness made day blossom

The day before Mother’s Day, I was waiting for paratransit at the Fred Meyer Shopping center. A lady walked by and wished me a happy Mother’s Day. I thanked her and said that I wasn’t looking forward to it. We chatted for awhile and she walked on. When I went to board the bus, that lady was there with a bouquet of purple tulips. She gave me a hug and again wished me a happy Mother’s Day. What a wonderful person and I can’t thank her enough. She did brighten my day. A mother would be very proud to have a daughter like her. I look at the flowers often and I think of her. There are good people out there — we usually only hear of the bad. Thank you whoever you are. God Bless.
