Jackson | Boys Basketball

The Timberwolves wing scored 11 points and had double-digit rebounds in Jackson’s win over Capital Christian, of Sacramento, Calif., in the championship game of the MaxPreps Holiday Classic. Todd finished each of the four games of the tourney with a double-double and was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player.

Other nominees: Trey Chambers, Glacier Peak; Greg Bowman, Mountlake Terrace; Tyler Nielsen, Kamiak; Josh Baird, Snohomish.

Sevi Bielser

Arlington | Girls Basketball

The sophomore guard hit 12 3-pointers in three games to lead the Eagles to a 3-0 record in three Wesco 4A North games. Bielser had five 3-pointers each in wins over Lake Stevens and Snohomish, and scored 17 and 15 points, respectively.

Other nominees: Sidney Rielly, Everett; Onyie Chibuogwu, Shorecrest; Lily Gustafson, Shorewood; Sierra Anderson, Jackson; Mikayla Pivec, Lynnwood.

Cody Vigoren

Lake Stevens | Wrestling

The 195-pound grappler won his weight class at the prestigious Doc Buchanan Invitational in Clovis, Calif. as Lake Stevens finished 15th as a team. Vigoren defeated the second- and third-ranked wrestlers in the state of California. He pinned his opponent in the first round of the finals.

Other nominees: Jeremy Nygard, Arlington; Garrett Gershmel, Lake Stevens; Hunter Lord, Lynnwood.
