‘Press Coverage’: Week 3 prep football preview

The Herald staff breaks down five key games on Friday night’s slate.

Herald writers Cameron Van Til, Josh Horton and Zac Hereth take a look at five games set for Friday night.

A marquee conference matchup between Lake Stevens and Monroe highlights the opening of Wesco 4A play.

Other matchups include the annual Stilly Cup rivalry game between Arlington and Stanwood, a chance for the Marysville schools to start 2-0 in Wesco 3A North play with tough early-season battles with schools from Whatcom County, and Cascade’s clash with Mount Vernon.
