The Eagles guard scored 24 points in a win over Mount Vernon as the Eagles locked up the Wesco 4A North title.
Counting the votes: Arlington’s Krista Showalter won the fan vote and Myhre voted for Showalter. Swaney and Krueger voted for Glacier Peak’s Nicole Fausey and Saperstein voted for Lake Stevens’ Brooke Pahukoa. Showalter won based on the fan vote.

The Elledge cousins both won district titles to lead the Grizzlies to a Wesco 3A South District team championship. Sean pinned Shorewood’s Konnor Carpenter in 3 minutes, 46 seconds to win the 182-pound title and brother Jacob beat teammate Logan Campbell 10-2 in the 152-pound final.

The Bruins senior bowled for a 211 average to finish second in singles competition at the 4A state bowling championships. She also bowled three consecutive strikes in the 10th frame of 14th baker game to help the Bruins secure second place overall as a team behind defending state champion Battle Ground.
