The junior guard scored a game-high 31 points against Providence Classical Christian on Jan. 7 and added 18 against Neah Bay on Jan. 11 as the Hawks improved to 11-0. Parks won The Herald’s Athlete of the Week for Jan. 5-11 by claiming 487 (59.17%) of the 823 votes.

The Junior scored 30 points against Coupeville on Jan. 17 and added 24 against Friday Harbor on Jan. 14.
Cassandra Chestnut | Shorecrest girls basketball
Chestnut scored 37 points in an overtime loss to Meadowdale on Jan. 15.
Eden Cole | Kamiak girls wrestling
The junior 135-pound class wrestler won the Justice for All tournament in Issaquah on Jan. 18, pinning her final three opponents during a 4-0 showing.
Joseph Davis | Marysville Pilchuck boys wrestling
Davis needed only 1 minute, 19 seconds total to dominate three matches on his way to winning the 157-pound weight class at the 2025 Marysville Premier. He saved his best for the championship match, pinning Woodinville’s Darsh Shenoy in 18 seconds.
Jazmyn Legg | Stanwood girls basketball
The senior guard set a school recording by drilling nine 3-point baskets to score 27 points in a win over Skyline on Jan. 13. Legg added 14 points and four assists in a Jan. 15 win over Marysville Pilchuck, and finished the Spartans’ 3-0 week with 20 points against Monroe on Jan. 17.
