Lake Stevens | Football

Landeros, a junior, rushed for 241 yards and three touchdowns in the Vikings’ 45-28 Class 4A state quarterfinal win over Graham-Kapowsin on Saturday.

Samaya Morin

Lake Stevens | Volleyball

Morin, a sophomore, had 18 kills and 24 digs as the Vikings rallied from a two-set deficit to beat Chiawana 3-2 Saturday to capture seventh place at the Class 4A state tournament.

Natalie Stern

Snohomish | Volleyball

Stern, a senior, helped the Panthers place fifth in the Class 3A state tournament with a pair of wins Saturday. Stern had seven kills and 18 digs in a victory over Eastside Catholic, and nine kills and 14 digs in a win over Prairie.

Samantha Zimmerman

Monroe | Volleyball

Zimmerman, a senior, had nine kills, four blocks and 20 digs Friday in a 3-2 victory over Puyallup in the quarterfinals of the Class 4A state tournament. The win clinched a state trophy for the Bearcats, who went on to place fourth — the best showing in program history.
