BELLINGHAM — Katie Krueger set the Lakewood career mark for runs scored, crossing home plate four times to push her total to 129. Krueger went 3-for-3 with a triple, a double and a walk and also drove in three runs and swiped two bases. She starred in the circle as well, striking out eight batters while allowing one unearned run. MJ Morales helped Lakewood’s 10-run rule win by going 3-for-4 with a double, a triple three RBI and two runs. The Cougars improved to 4-6 overall and 4-3 in league play.

MUKILTEO — The Vikings (8-6 overall, 2-3 league) scored five runs in the top of the sixth to tie it up, but Riley Karabach’s RBI single gave Kamiak (9-3, 4-1) the lead for good in the bottom of the inning. McKenna Richer went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI for Lake Stevens.

Meadowdale 22, Lynnwood 5 (5)

LYNNWOOD — Payton Aldridge struck out 13 batters and allowed no earned runs while also dominating at the plate (2-for-3, walk, double, RBI, three runs) for Meadowdale (5-6 overall, 4-2 league). Zoey Martin had one of the Royals’ (1-11, 0-6) four hits and drove in three runs.

Edmonds-Woodway 18, Shorecrest 7

SHORELINE— The Warriors cranked 21 hits, led by four apiece from Ella Campbell and Noa Gillespie.

Mountlake Terrace 9, Shorewood 2

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Amaya Johnson hit a grand slam home run to highlight the Hawks’ 11-hit outburst. Shorewood leadoff hitter Maddie Schilperoort registered two of the Stormrays’ three hits against Johnson, who allowed a lone earned run and struck out eight.
