County updating comp plan

Snohomish County leaders want the opinions of residents as they update the 1995 Comprehensive Plan to serve future residents.

County officials will host a community meeting to help residents be prepared to share their opinions on key issues in the update process, such as adjustments to land use designations and impacts. The meeting is Monday, April 26, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Everett Community College, Parks Student Union Building, Conference Room A, 2000 Tower St. in Everett.

The county is amending its 1995 Comprehensive Plan to accommodate expected population and employment growth through 2025.
