SEATTLE
Meadowdale’s first trip to state since it finished sixth in 2003 and 2004 ended without a coveted state trophy.
The Renton Indians ended Meadowdale’s season 55-43 Friday, March 7 at Key Arena.
“Give Renton credit, they’re a tough team,” Meadowdale coach Chad McGuire said. “They’re very quick defensively and play hard.”
Meadowdale got within a point early in the fourth quarter but a 7-0 run by the Indians put the game out of reach.
Meadowdale finished the year 23-6.
