Edmonds-Woodway
Raquel Garciduenas
Parents: Peggy Garciduenas-Sease and Alfred Garciduenas
GPA: 3.678
Activities: FCCLA (Family Career Community Leaders of America), DECA, DARE Role model, Spirit Club, Link Crew Leader, Partial IB Candidate, WASC representative. Senior Class Appointed Officer with the associated student body.
Honors/awards: Member of the National Honor Society Taeda Chapter.
Community service: Volunteered at World Concern, Relay for Life and Hosted an Australia Exchange Student for two years in a row.
Future: Attending the University of Washington starting in the fall. I hope to major in Romance Linguistics and Environmental Health. Also plan on studying abroad in Spain my sophomore or junior year. I eventually hope to work for a non profit organization that works to help the environment and people.
Other: I have lived in five different countries including the Cape Verde Islands, Brazil, El Salvador and Guinea.
Dan Kowalczyk
Parents: Margaret Kowalczyk
Activities: FCCLA (Family Career Community Leaders of America), Hi-Q, is a cyclist.
Honors/awards: IB English Student of the Year 2004-2005
Community service: Providence Hospital Volunteer, Food Lifeline Volunteer, Taking Strides Against Breast Cancer route marshall for the past two years
Employment: Salesman at Gregg’s Aurora Cycles, Seattle
Future: Math or electrical engineering major. Future career: building robotics and satellites for space exploration. Also, working with wireless communication systems.
Other: I plan to travel extensively in the next few years and join the Peace Corps after my college education, hopefully using my knowledge to make communications more accessible to regions cursed by poverty.
Lynnwood
Huynh Nguyen

Activities: Orchestra, badminton.
Honors/awards: ELL award, Orchestra Merit award
Community service: Volunteer at Lynnwood Intermediate
Future: Plans to attend college and become an artist, pharmacist or computer engineer.
Sungwon Gina Park
Parents: Joanne Park and Jason Park
Activities: Key Club, girls’ swim and girls’ golf teams
Honors/awards: Most Valuable Player in golf, Athletic Letter Award in golf, Athletic Letter Award in swim, Best Listener in ESL.
Community service: Church, Bastille Day, and at kindergarten in France
Future: I’m planning to go to the University of Washington Bothell to major in French. My dream is to become a French teacher.
Other: I have the experience of four different countries: Korea, Hong Kong, France, and the U.S. I speak three languages fluently: Korean, French, and English.
Meadowdale
Jordan Heimdahl

Lee Martin

Future: I plan to attend Washington State University next year and study Athletic Training throughout my four years and major in Athletic raining.
Other: I plan to become a certified athletic trainer and either want to work with a professional football team or work for a college and all of their sports teams.
Mountlake Terrace
Andrew Pham

Jillian Russell

Future: Attending University of Washington fall 2006. Study business administration. Future career: accounting or something math related
Other: For my senior project, held a silent auction and raised $5,672 for Cancer Lifeline.
Scriber Lake
Naomi Clark
Clark is recognized by the Edmonds Daybreakers Rotary Club as its Hidden Winner.
Parents: Mom — Kim Little. Step dad — Scott Little.
Activities: Active in church and youth group activities all of her life. She played on the middle school volleyball team but likes playing a variety of sports. Clark is passionate about learning Japanese culture. She writes poetry and stories. She is artistic and enjoys a variety of art projects.
Future: Clark plans on attending Western Washington University when she graduates and major in art. She is interested in pursuing a career in cartoon animation and video production.

Shannon Rushin
Rushin has won the Edmonds Exchange Club ACE (Accepting the Challenge of Excellence) award.
Parents: April Flores and Butch Rushin
Activities: Plays electric bass guitar; member of musical band. Member of Mountlake Terrace High School DECA program. Very artistic and enjoys art projects and painting.
Employment: Currently employed at Sears at Alderwood Mall. Previously employed in catering business.
Future: Enrolled to begin classes at Gene Juarez Academy of Beauty, North Seattle campus, in August.
