Visit was well worth it

This is in regard to the Chinese navy that visited our port recently.

I found them very courteous and warm towards us. Their ships had some narrow and steep ladders. Being a senior citizen, I was a little nervous going down those ladders but the Chinese sailors were right there to give people a hand and make sure our safety came first. Wouldn’t it be nice if it was like this all over the world.

The only disturbing thing I saw was a couple of “Ack Ack” guns. They looked like they were old and hadn’t been used for a long time. It sort of reminded me of the old World War II movies and my school years.

Of course, I felt like unbolting them and sending them to Charlton Heston and the NRA.

I hope Chinese people were treated as nice as we were when they were here.
