Beetle with a badge is indeed a crime fighter

A: You probably saw Robin Heslop, the crime prevention specialist for Edmonds.

As a civilian, she doesn’t wear a police uniform, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t doing crime-prevention work.

She handles residential and commercial security, plus education, security surveys and Block Watch. She also supervises a volunteer program.

The vehicle was donated by Campbell/Nelson Volkswagen in Edmonds.
