The flag carrier of the African nation of Gabon is buying four new Boeing jets.
Air Gabon said Friday it is buying a 747-400 Combi, a 767-300ER and two 737-700s.
Deliveries will start in 2003, Boeing said.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The four planes would have a combined value, at list prices, of more than $400 million.
The 747-400 Combi is designed to carry both passengers and cargo on its main deck. It and the 767 are built in Everett.
Air Gabon also will lease two first-generation 737s from CIT Leasing Corp., the airline said.
Also Friday, Hawaiian Airlines officials announced plans to lease four 767-300ERs from International Lease Finance Corp. The airline expects to take delivery of the planes next year, according to the Reuters News Agency.
A Hawaiian Airlines spokesman didn’t return a phone call Friday.
Terms of the Hawaiian Airlines deal also were not disclosed. Boeing’s list price is between $114.5 million and $127.5 million.
In April, the airline leased three other 767-300ERs from Ansett Worldwide Aviation. At the time, it said the value of the three planes was $330 million.
