Turner’s Tavern, a mainstay on Hewitt Avenue, is moving a couple of doors away, to the former Bogey’s Golf and OfficePC. Turner’s owner Pat Lorbiecki said he decided to move when his former quarters was bought by developer Craig Dieffenbach. The new Turner’s will have more restaurant-style seating in front to complement the 100-year-old back bar, he said. "It’s very nice, very upscale. There’s nothing like this in Everett," he said. The new Turner’s was set to open this weekend, provided safety inspectors were able to complete their checks of the building, he added. Dieffenbach said this week that Chris Beno, who operates Seattle’s Graceland and I-Spy night clubs, plans to open a new club featuring live music and a bar in Turner’s old quarters at 2011 Hewitt. Ave.
