Everett man hurt when his Jeep leaves the road

MILL CREEK — A 19-year-old Everett man was listed in satisfactory condition Saturday night at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after a severe traffic crash in the Mill Creek area.

Nickolaus C. Dreghorn suffered head injury and possible internal injuries, according to a nursing supervisor.

The crash occurred about 4:15 p.m. while Dreghorn’s 1998 Jeep Cherokee left the road, plunged down an embankment and struck a tree, then rolled onto its side, the patrol said.

The Jeep was destroyed by the crash.

Man arrested after hit-and-run: Police arrested a man who allegedly ran a stop sign, hit another car and then fled on foot until officers found him several blocks away.

The crash occurred shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday on the northbound off-ramp from I-5 to E. Marine View Drive, Everett Police Sgt. Dan Templeman said.

The driver of the second vehicle suffered minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Providence Everett Medical Center.

Several police cars converged on the scene to search for the driver after he ran, Templeman said. When officers approached him, he was arrested without incident. The crash is under investigation.

The play, which details a sixth-grade boy’s Christmas in the 1950s, is the society’s first play of the new season, which runs through May.

Tickets are $13 for adults, $11 for seniors, students and military personnel, and $7 for youths 12 and younger.

The date of the final performance was incorrect in Saturday’s paper.
