Snohomish man found injured in the street is in critical condition

SNOHOMISH – A 40-year-old man who was found severely injured in the street was in critical condition Wednesday at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The Snohomish man was found unconscious shortly after 9 p.m. Tuesday on First Street between Avenue A and Union Avenue. Police responded to what initially was reported as a car-pedestrian traffic accident, but learned that the man actually had been in a fight. The man, whose name has not been released, was involved in a fight with other patrons in the U&I Tavern.
