Mom, daughter, Dream Dinners help needy

My 12-year-old daughter, Ellen Favale, accompanied me recently to the Everett Dream Dinners location to assemble meals for our family. She was very intrigued by the concept and enjoyed our two-hour session. She asked me if I knew if Dream Dinners provided any meals to the homeless.

I e-mailed Dream Dinners and told them that if they would split the cost with me, my daughter and I would prepare the meals and deliver them. Dream Dinners was delighted. They will split the cost with us and book us a session at the Everett Dream Dinners. My daughter and I now have an appointment to bring the dinners to the Snohomish County Center for Battered Women. They seem delighted to receive this contribution.

I am impressed with Dream Dinners’ willingness to help and I am obviously very proud of a fine young lady with a generous, contributory idea.
