Some dogs do OK with all the noise

Some advice for the person who can’t sleep because of the “disruption it (the Fourth of July) causes to animals”:

Buy a gun dog. The biggest hassle you will have is every time a firecracker goes off, it will run all over the house looking for the fallen bird.
