A Northshore Back-to-School Fair is planned for 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Northshore Family Center, 18315 Bothell Way NE, Bothell.
The fair will include free haircuts, free dental checkups, free identification cards, a free clothing exchange, food, crafts, activities and music.
There will be information about free childhood immunizations, how to get assistance with school supplies, before- and after-school programs, the Northshore School District, parental involvement and community resources, and the Northshore Family Center’s classes.
Comment on midyear changes at a Mukilteo City Council hearing at 7 tonight at 4480 Chennault Beach Road.
Written comments will be accepted at City Hall until 4:30 this afternoon.
The Everett Community College women’s basketball program is looking for business and community sponsors for its annual golf tournament. The fundraising event is set for 11 a.m. Aug. 27 at the Legion Memorial Golf Course in Everett.

“Platters that Matter” is planned for Wednesday evening to benefit Cocoon House, Senior Services of Snohomish County and the Snohomish County Center for Battered Women.
