I give my approval to writer’s question

Regarding the Oct. 16 letter inquiring as to why political candidates invariably end their comments with “I approve this message”:

I must say that I approve the writer’s question, and so to all of you political candidates, we the people await your reply in hopes that we will approve your answers.
