Weird, but true

Today in the category of unlikely news, we have a few offerings for you:
Frog juice: It’s a popular drink in Andean cultures. (http://www.heraldnet.com/stories/07/05/05/100wir_a2frog001.cfm?refresh=yes) It purportedly has a variety of benefits. And, yes, we’re sorry to say frog juice is exactly what it sounds like. But we hear it’s great with a twist of lime and some celery salt. And those crunchy parts? Don’t mind them. It’s just some extra calcium.
Man or beast? A group in Austria is working to get a chimp named a person. (http://www.heraldnet.com/stories/07/05/05/100wir_a2chimp001.cfm?refresh=yes) But don’t be concerned, they just want basic human rights for him. “We’re not talking about the right to vote here,” a group member says. Really, though, some elections would go better if chimpanzees were voting. Or running for office.
“I misdialed!” That’s what some people will insist after a Washington, D.C., madam released her list of phone numbers. (http://www.heraldnet.com/stories/07/05/05/100wir_a9show001.cfm?refresh=yes) Most unlikely of all, none of the 46 pounds of phone records revealed a member of Congress or White House staff.
Paris Hilton, “The Jail Life”: Paris will soon be eating cheap chicken, drinking no booze and primping in a piece of polished metal. (http://www.heraldnet.com/stories/07/05/05/100wir_a2paris001.cfm?refresh=yes)
And today’s final unlikely but true story: Kmart is staking it hopes on a talking light bulb called “Mr. Blue Light.” They are hoping he doesn’t turn into “Mr. In The Red.” (http://www.heraldnet.com/stories/07/05/05/100bus_sears001.cfm?refresh=yes)
