Captain Jack Sparrow is back on the big screen today with the third “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie. And the film loses some of the wind in its sails halfway through.

Pity.

But, the lull in the action will allow movie-goers to fully, um, appreciate Johnny Depp. Or if he’s not your thing there’s always Orlando Bloom. Or just enjoy watching the undead monkey. Horton says he gives a star-quality performance.
