Pity the SUV driver. Or not. (You smarmy Prius drivers know who you are.) But lately, paying at the pump only adds insult to injury.
Seems the credit card companies have capped pump purchases at as little as $50, in an effort to limit loss from stolen cards. But when you pair a thirsty Canyonero with high gas prices, drivers have to use more than one credit card for each fill-up.
Here’s a tip that has worked for home buyers: Call your bank and get pre-approval before you gas up. And ask about the free toaster.
Never mind the car; how’s the tank? Workers in Oklahoma on Friday dug up a ’57 Plymouth buried 50 years ago as a time capsule.
When it was buried, people could enter a contest to guess Tulsa’s population in 2007, with the closest guess winning the car. But The Buzz is guessing there’s more interest in what was buried along with the Belvedere: 10 gallons of gas, which cost about $2.80 in 1957.
Climb every #@&$%! mountain. A Longview teenager was suspended and her choir teacher is under investigation after the 13-year-old let fly with a string of obscenities at the end of a concert, explaining she was mimicking her teacher.
We looked but couldn’t find a YouTube clip.
