ANNIVERSARY

Buttke

Bob and Bev Buttke of Marysville celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on Aug. 31.

The couple were married Aug. 31, 1952.

Bob retired as general manager for the Marysville Globe in 1997. Bev retired from Snohomish County PUD in 1989.

The couple have three children, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

WEDDING

Fritsch and Wolff

Melissa Fritsch and Axel Wolff of Everett were married June 24 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Everett.

Their parents are Steve and Maggie Fritsch of Everett and Peter and Ruth Wolff of Arlington.

Melissa and Axel attended Archbishop Murphy High School together.

Melissa graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts with a degree in studio art. She is an artist and also works at Everett’s Imagine Children’s Museum.

Axel graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., with a degree in international relations. He is serving as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army.

The wedding ceremony was followed by dinner and dancing at Shilshole Bay Beach Club.

Melissa and Axel will make their home in Schweinfurt, Germany.
