Everett: Learn to do floral arrangements

Taste the Food of Norway on Tuesday
Everett’s Sons of Norway is planning a Norwegian Christmas food demonstration at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Normanna Hall, 2725 Oakes Ave. You can learn recipes for specialties, such as kransekake, an 18-ring cake for special occasions, and several other dishes.

Everett coin show planned for Nov. 17
The Everett Coin Club is planning its 45th annual coin show for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 17 at Normanna Hall, 2725 Oakes Ave. The show continues from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 18.
The show includes a coin collecting clinic at 2 p.m. Nov. 17.

Lake Stevens: Bilingual aid needed
The Lake Stevens Family Center is looking for a part-time bilingual program coordinator.
The employee will be paid for 20 hours a week to help with activities and educational opportunities for English- and Spanish-speaking families with children up to age 11.

Mukilteo: Managers to discuss spending
Department managers for the city of Mukilteo are planning to tell the City Council at its next meeting about what they would like to have funded in next year’s budget.
The City Council is planning to discuss the budget during its meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. Nov. 19 at City Hall, 4480 Chennault Beach Road.

Snohomish: Center offers massages
Seniors are encouraged to receive a massage and have their blood pressure checked from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Snohomish Senior Center, temporarily located at 1514 Pine Ave.
As part of its health and wellness program, the center offers 15-minute seated massages for $15 once a month. This month, that service is scheduled the same day as the center’s free blood pressure checks provided by Tina Boitano of Merry Haven of Snohomish.
