LYNNWOOD — An 18-year-old Snohomish-area man died late Thursday night after being assaulted by two teens, one striking him over the head with a metal bar and another stabbing him, officials say.
The victim died at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, said Rebecca Hover, a spokeswoman for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
The assault occurred about 7:30 p.m. at 156th Street SW and Admiralty Way in unincorporated Snohomish County.
Several teens were in the street arguing when one suspect, believed to be 14 or 15 years old, struck the victim over the head, Hover said. An 18-year-old male is suspected of stabbing the Snohomish man.
Both suspects have been arrested.
