Marysville: Seniors get a shot at videos

Marysville’s Ken Baxter Senior-Community Center and White Owl Arts Videography are offering free keepsake video portraits to seniors by appointment through Tuesday.

Seniors can share favorite stories, communicate with faraway family and friends or even to talk future generations.

Video portraits will be presented to participants on DVD in time for the holidays.

Sittings are 20 minutes.

Stanwood: Sunday fundraiser planned

Retailers plan to sell candles, holiday home decor, cosmetics, toys and more at the Stanwood Community and Senior Center’s holiday expo Sunday.

The event is a fundraiser for the center.

The free expo is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Stanwood Community and Senior Center, 7430 276th St. NW.
