Arlington: Council to discuss water use
Water efficiency, a loan for Arlington’s waste water treatment center and vehicle exhaust are on the agenda for the Arlington City Council meeting tonight.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 110 E. Third St.

Arlington: New exercise class starts
A new exercise class for senior citizens is scheduled to begin Wednesday.
The eight-week course, Fit for Life, is on Wednesdays and Fridays from 2 to 3 p.m.
The class, which needs 12 people to sign up, will be held at the Stillaguamish Senior Center, 18308 Smokey Point Blvd.
The fee is $22.

Stanwood: Center offers CPR class
Adult, child and infant CPR classes are planned for 8 a.m. to noon Jan. 14 at the Stanwood Community and Senior Center.
The classes are being taught by instructors certified by the American Heart Association. They have taught Emergency Medical Technicians and have more than 22 years of combined experience. The classes are designed to be interactive.
The center also plans to offer a first-aid class from 8 a.m. to noon on Jan. 16.
The classes cost $30 each.
The Stanwood Community and Senior Center is at 7430 276th Street NW.

Tulalip: American Indian television offers music videos
The Tulalip KANU-TV, channel 99, now offers an American Indian music program called “Red Rocks.” The program will feature such bands as Redbone, a rock band that performs songs including “We Were All Wounded at Wounded Knee.” The program, developed in California for Indian television channels, will join other programs, including the tribes’ weekly general manager’s report, “Rez-Robics,” Northwest Indian News and Tulalip Heritage school basketball.
