Bentley brought guitar back to life

Regarding the Monday article, “Why times are tough for this Everett music store,” about John Bentley:

I have a Martin guitar that I purchased new in 1968. After being played for over 30 years, it was ready for some attention from a luthier. John was the man. He did everything needed to bring it back to its original condition, including new frets and a neck reset. My trusty old D 18 has better playability now than when new. I’m glad I trusted him with this old musical companion of 40 years.
