Today is the deadline if you want to vote in Washington’s presidential primary. Voters are advised that if they really want to count in the process, they should move to California by Super Tuesday.
Snohomish County Sheriff’s deputies will be riding around in old-fashioned black-and-white patrol cars by the summer. It’s part of a move to a more traditional look. Other standards will include ten-gallon hats, handlebar moustaches and spurs for deputies’ boots.
It’s not easy being rich. If you bring in more than $1 million a year, you’re more likely to be audited, the IRS says. But it all balances out. You’re also more likely to have a model on your arm and a diamond pendant on your poodle.
The Mariners have invited first-round draft pick Philippe Aumont to spring training. He’s not expected to make the team, but the M’s hope he’ll make an excellent French chef for the clubhouse.
And best wishes to Kyle Beach, the Silvertips player who is recovering from a vicious sucker punch to the head. Ring your cowbell a few extra times for him at tonight’s game — but please, do it quietly.
