Bargain CD store really does rock

Kudos for the insightful and interesting story on Gordy Arlin’s music business, Bargain CDs, Records &Tapes, that The Herald provided its readers. (Feb. 4, “Music business humming along.”)
Now at its new location at 25th and Broadway in Everett, the store is the only used CD shop in Snohomish County, and if you are a music lover or collector of yesterday’s music, this store is a treasure trove of timeless music and memories for all ages.
Remember the record shops from years back, and remember flipping through those rows of 45s and LPs?
In an age of iPods and downloading of music, going to Gordy’s shop, you get that down-home feeling of days gone by, where customer service comes first, and all the shop employees are very helpful and knowledgeable of the music business.
A business like this needs to be preserved and is a great asset to this community and its consumers.
