Learn about the lives of orcas
Susan Berta of the Orca Network discusses orca history and shares glimpses into the life of our resident pod at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Camano Multipurpose Center, 141 E. Camano Drive. Come with questions. The presentation is part of a public education series presented on the third Wednesday of each month by the Camano Wildlife Habitat Project and sponsored by Friends of Camano Island Parks.

Dance group’s gala funds scholarships
Everett Dance Theatre plans to hold a scholarship benefit at 8 p.m. March 28 at the Snohomish County PUD Auditorium, 2320 California St. in Everett.
Advanced tickets for A Touch of Class are available at the dance studio, 7207 Evergreen Way, Suite K, in Everett.
The gala supports scholarships for students who can’t afford dance classes. The nonprofit Everett Dance Theatre awards about $10,000 each year in scholarships and discounted tickets to performances.

Take the bus and win a trip to Paris
Through Friday, commuters who trade in their car for an alternative form of transportation can enter a Wheel Options contest presnted by Community Transit, the Washington State Ridesharing Organization and other groups.

Free legal clinic for tribal families
Tribal families with incomes of less than 125 percent of the federal poverty guideline — $1,426 for a family of two and $2,151 for a family of four — are eligible for free legal advice from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the first Friday of each month at the Quil Ceda Business park. Tribal elders, regardless of income, are eligible.
An attorney from the Northwest Justice Project in Everett will provide legal consultations for civil cases.
