Spring calendar: Garden events coming up in April, May and June

Are your planters looking a little sad? Getting the itch to go outside and dig? We think it’s spring, despite the hail and snow, so we’ve rounded up the plant sales, tours and other gardening events in a spring calendar to help you get inspired, too.

APRIL

Garden lovers book sale: Join the preview party 5 to 8 p.m. April 4 with wine, cheese and a first look at thousands of used gardening, horticulture, botany and landscape design books for $15 admission, or attend the no-admission sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 5 at the Elisabeth C.
