Three men arrested in robbery case
EDMONDS — Three men were arrested for allegedly forcing their way into an Edmonds home to steal drugs and money, police said.
The incident occurred early in the morning of March 24 in the 22700 block of 74th Place W., Edmonds police Sgt. Don Anderson said.
The men, who appeared to be armed with a handgun, are suspected of forcing their way into a home and ransacking it, Anderson said.
Police didn’t notify media about the incident because they had information about one suspect and didn’t want to let the man know they were on his trail, Anderson said. No one was injured and no property appeared to have been taken.
Officers found a BB gun they believe was used in the incident.
Two Seattle men, ages 22 and 23, and a Renton man, 22, were booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree robbery and burglary.
Mill Creek: Cyclist injured in collision
A cyclist was injured in an afternoon collision Thursday, officials said.
The cyclist, a Snohomish man, 52, apparently didn’t stop at a red light and hit a van about 1:40 p.m. in the intersection of the Bothell-Everett Highway and Mill Creek Boulevard, Mill Creek police spokeswoman Robin Swanson said.
The cyclist was southbound on the highway and the van was turning with traffic, she said.
The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Snohomish County Fire District 7 Battalion Chief Janet Jaeger said.
The driver of the van, an Everett woman, 40, was shaken up but wasn’t injured.
Police blocked the street for several hours as they collected evidence.
Thursday evening, police were told that the man’s condition was stable and that he had not sustained serious injuries.
