Seahawks sign ex-Husky CB Lowe

KIRKLAND — The Seattle Seahawks say they’ve signed cornerback Omare Lowe to a one-year contract.

Lowe played in all 16 games for Atlanta in 2006, leading the team with 14 special teams tackles before spending last season on injured reserve.

Since he was selected by Miami in the fifth round of the 2002 draft, Lowe has played for the Dolphins, Jets, Vikings, Patriots and Falcons.

Lowe played four seasons at the University of Washington, finishing his college career with 100 tackles.
