Court hearing continued for Seahawks Rocky Bernard

SEATTLE — The Seattle city attorney’s office says a Municipal Court hearing that had been scheduled Monday for Seahawks player Rocky Bernard has been continued to June 16.

Bernard has pleaded not guilty to a domestic violence assault charge. He is accused of hitting his girlfriend in the head in April at a Seattle nightclub.

The 29-year-old defensive lineman is in the final year of a three-year, $13 million contract extension he signed in 2006 with the Seahawks.
