Marysville two-car accident injures two drivers

A driver was airlifted after a two-car accident on 108th Street NE near Highway 9 late Friday.

Officers were called to the 8000 block of 108th Street NE at 8.48 p.m., Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Ty Trenary said.

One of the drivers was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The driver of the second car suffered injuries as well and was taken to a local hospital, he said.

A portion of 108th Street between 67th Avenue NE and Highway 9 was expected to be closed off for several hours while officers investigated, Trenary said.
