Added tidbits from last night

Jon Rosen passed along the following bits of info:

– The third-period goals by Byron Froese, Daniel Bartek and Matt Ius came 2:20 apart. That’s the fastest three goals in franchise history.

– The first-period goals by Kellan Tochkin and Bartek, which came 13 seconds apart, were the second-fastest two goals in franchise history. Ondrej Fiala and Moises Gutierrez scored 12 seconds apart in a game at Vancouver during the 2006-07 season.

– And, of course, the 14 combined goals are the most ever in a Silvertips game.

One other thing I forgot to mention is that Tyler Maxwell’s goal was something special. The acceleration he put on to beat the two Kelowna defensemen to the bouncing puck was remarkable. He’s starting to look more comfortable out there now.
