Learn about eagles at McCollum Park in Everett

Meet a big bird: Get to know Freedom, a mature bald eagle, and her keeper, Jeff Guidry, from the Sarvey Wildlife Center from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 1 at McCollum Park in Everett.

Guidry will share his personal story and intriguing facts about eagles and their habitat as part of this all-ages event presented by the Adopt-A-Stream Foundation and Snohomish County Parks and Rec.

Tickets, available by calling 425-316-8592, are $5 for members, $7 nonmembers. McCollum Park is at 600 128th St. SE, Everett, a half-mile mile east of I-5 off Exit 186. Go to www.streamkeeper.org for more information.
