Everett found a suitor for disgruntled right wing Matt Ius, sending him to Swift Current in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the 2009 bantam draft.
The 18-year-old Ius left the team last week, citing the desire for a more prominent role and a dwindling passion for the game. He had seven goals and eight assists in 87 games over four seasons with the Tips.
